Audition Notice: Lucky Stiff

Auditions for Lucky Stiff will be held on March 16 and 17 at the theatre. Auditions will begin at 7 pm. Those auditioning can attend either night, they don't have to attend both nights. Call backs will be March 19 at 7 pm. We are looking to cast 10-14 actors, age range is 16 and up. We are looking for 5-7 males and 5-7 females. Actors will be asked to do a cold reading from the script along with a song. The song will be taught and performed during the audition.

Lucky Stiff is the story of Harry, who must take his dead Uncle Anthony on one last trip to Monte Carlo in order to inherit six million dollars. The hilarious musical comedy is being directed by Tony Peregoy. Show dates are May 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31.

Audition Notice: Jungle Book

Auditions for The Jungle Book will be held on February 23 and 24 at the theatre. Auditions will begin at 7 pm. Those auditioning can attend either night, they don't have to attend both nights.

Auditions are open to children ages 8 to 16.

Everyone auditioning will be asked to read from the script. They will play some theater games to see how well they follow directions and how creative they are.

Parents, be sure to bring your family/school calendar in order to check rehearsal date conflicts.

Show dates are: April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26.

Please note, Proof is not part of our 2009 Season, however season ticket holders can use a punch on their card or an early bird freebie ticket to see this show. Therefore, I've included the dates here.

The dates for our holiday show, It's a Wonderful Life, will be announced at a later time.

Winter Break KidsCamp

We are offering half-day and full-day KidsCamp for the winter break, February 16 to 21. You can pay for the camp online through our website. If you would like to mail a check, just email us at nctc@numail.org and we'll send you a registration form.

KidsCamp is hugely popular. Children ages 5 to 12 learn about building sets, costuming, learning lines, make up - everything it takes to put on a show. Then on Saturday at 10:00 am they get to do just that! The show is free to all and is the culmination of all the children learned that week. They really love it and many children have been attending KidsCamp for years. Often they then become teen helpers at future KidsCamps!
