Volunteer Opportunities

We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities at the theatre right now. Here are some current needs.

Box Office/Ushers/Concessions/House Managers: If you'd like to help in any of these areas during The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Sept. 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27), please contact Mike Patterson at info@newnantheatre.org.

Theatre Seating: We need someone who would be interested in organizing the installation of the new seats. If you're an engineer or building inspector, we could also use your expert opinion. We also need volunteers willing to clean and scotch guard the seats and help to reconfigure the seating area and build new stairs. Contact Rick Olsen at managing-director@newnantheatre.org if interested.

Lawn Care: We need people to mow the theatre's small lawn and maintain it. Please contact Mike Patterson at info@newnantheatre.org.

Prop Master: Someone to maintain props in the upstairs prop department. Contact Laurel Alford at turtlehouse1@yahoo.com.

Directors: Experienced or not, please contact Darren Mathews (dmathew1979@yahoo.com) if interested in directing a show in 2010.

Some current items we need donated: Old computer monitors, preferably LCD; Tape (all types), scissors, staplers and staples, copy paper (white and colors), black markers. Items can be dropped off at the theatre any time.
