Improvisational Experiment

If you're looking for a completely unique evening out, NCTC presents Improvisational Experiment on June 6 at 8 pm.

A group of actors from NCTC are experimenting with a different form of improv. Their mission is to produce and perform a real and highly original play completely improvised based on the audience's decision.

The group will supply the audience with a list of five common literary themes as the starting point. The audience will select one of the 5 for the group to do a show about. They will break into pairs to brainstorm and perform. The audience will decide which stores progress until they get to their final scene. There will be three rounds. As each round ends, the audience will decide which storyline continues. Pairs that are eliminated are added into the remaining scenes until they are all in the last and final scene.

Organized by Jeff Allen and Spencer Jordan, the group also includes Susan Patterson, Trey Stephens, Leslie Ray, JohnPaul Phillips, and Kim Marshall.

The evening costs $25 and includes a meal, dessert, and drinks. Seating is limited to 60 people. You can purchase tickets online through our Ticket Leap link below or call the theatre for reservations.
